The 52nd founding anniversary of Bangladesh Krishak League was observed in Kishoreganj.
District Krishak League celebrated its 52nd founding anniversary yesterday morning.
District Krishak League leaders and activists placed wreaths at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Muktijoddha Sangsad office.
Later discussion meeting, cake cutting, cloth distribution and DOA mahfil were held at district Awami League office.
District Awami League general secretary Bir Muktijoddha Advocate MA Afzal was the chief guest. On this occasion District Krishak League president Ahmed Ullah presided over the discussion meeting conducted by General Secretary Anwar Hossain Bachchu, Kendiya Krishak League member Aktaruzaman Shipon, District Krishak League vice president Advocate Md Abdur Razzaq, Zia Uddin Sarkar, Joint General Secretary Abul Hashem Master, Organizing Secretary M A Hanif, Md Asaduzzaman Asad, Finance Secretary Md Humayun Kabir, Publicity and Publication Secretary MA Akbar Khandkar, Office Secretary Deepak Das, Agriculture and Rehabilitation Affairs Editor Principal Mahfuzur Rahman, Hossainpur Upazila Krishak League President Aktaruzzaman Dulal, Sadar Upazila Krishak League General Secretary Shafikul Islam Haven, Karimganj Upazila Krishak League General Secretary Deen Islam, City Krishak League President Alamgir Hossain, General Secretary Al Mamun, Tarail Upazila Krishak League Former General Secretary Md Anwar Hossain Sarkar, Organizing Secretary Jahangir Alam Bhunya and others were present.
At the end of the discussion, a DOA was offered seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of the Father of the Nation. Shariful Islam Sharif, organizing secretary of Karimganj Upazila Krishak League, conducted the DOA.
